The Nematoda phylum consists of nematodes that occur in almost every environment as parasites in both plants and animals. Their bodies have more than two cell layers, organs, and tissues. The body is covered in a complex cuticle and possesses a gut with an anus. Contains a digestive and nervous system but no apperance of a circulatory system. Reproduction is sexually and can feed on almost anything.
Roundworms
They can be found in salt water, fresh water, and in the soil. Their structure
is a round thin body. They have a complete and definite digestive system which
runs the whole length of their bodies. This digestive system has a mouth,
pharynx, intestine, and anus. Many roundworms are parasites and usually live off
of other animals or plants.

Hookworms
They contain a mouth with three lips and also a few teeth. Their system contains a pharynx, intestines, and anus. Digestion is very rapid and any wastes are expelled under pressure. This pressure can be so high that a hookworm shoots its wastes up to 2 feet in the air.
Threadworms
Their digestive system consists of a mouht, pharynx, intestines, and anus. The pharynx is an efficient pump which forces food into the intestine. At this point, there is a one way valve between the intestines and the pharynx. Once the valve is closed, the pharynx is able to suck liquid food into the worm's mouth.
